Giorgio
Laudisa is your host. Ex-Manager of an important car industry, he
decided, some time back, to move and go to live on the old farmhouse,
property of his family. His friends, who came to visit him at Canestrello, charmed by the place and the hospitality of the local people, have encouraged him to set up this Bread and Breakfast. He will try to keep this page updated and to continue giving his suggestions.
-Raffaele Nigro, writer and colleague at RAI, for his books and for all the time he dedicated to us. -Our dear friend Leonardo Specchio, lecturer of Scenography at the Arts Academy of Bari, especially for having helped us in the iconographic research, helping us with all the texts in his maze-like library. -The Museum of the Peoples of Abruzzo, for their collaboration and help of their personnel. the Museum has an internet site, very rich in information and well-documented on the phenomenon of Transhumance. -The Antifascist Institute of Puglia and especially our friend Professor Vitantonio Leuzzi for his precious advice on the more appropriate texts to consult for our research. -Our Internet friend Sergio Curci for his help and collaboration. From his web site, which we have pointed out as one of our links, we have collected most of the information and photos concerning Ascoli and Candela. -The Tourist Office of Basilicata, for its help in the research of photos and touristic itineraries. -Our friend and colleague Aldo Fracasso who kindly gave permission to use some of his most beautiful photos.
