Pavoncelli
had the main offices of his firm in Naples. The activity of the firm
was described as Banking House. The branch of Cerignola was run by
one of the members of the family who administered thousands of hectares
of land, all on the Tavoliere. 2500 hectares were allocated for the
production of cereals 1500 hectares to pastures and another 2500 hectares
divided between vineyards and olive groves. At the time it was considered
a model farm and provided work for many workers and farmhands. |
